The Conestoga Heavy Construction Association (CHCA) was founded in April 1979. The CHCA has a strong tender practices committee that looks after tender issues, and a proactive OSWCA rep that ensures the Conestoga area has a strong voice in the sewer and watermain issues at a Provincial level. We have a committee that is solely responsible for assisting member companies in all of their safety issues as well as a committee that consistently organizes events with municipal engineers for the express purpose of promoting better construction practices. The CHCA boasts a great social program that promotes positive relationships among our members. The founding members were determined to make this an association with impact and influence and set out to create a number of objectives to ensure the CHCA's successful place in the construction industry.
